Yesterday some angry clouds dumped a load of wet nasty snow where I live in Saratoga Springs. It was the kind of snow you would expect to see if a gigantic 7-Eleven poured a slush puppy on your house. Fantastic! I can’t wait for spring.
But as fate would have it, my wife and I both had a delayed opening before we had to go and grind our respective mills and I decided that I would go outside and work on getting the car broken out of the seven foot glacier that the street plow had left us.
But I got distracted…
I kept staring at the snow and for some reason I wanted to build a snowman. So I did.
It was strange no doubt for my neighbors and those walking down the street to see a grown man rolling a 100 lb. ball of snow all over the lawn. I suppose I might as well have been barking at the moon in their eyes. But who cares, life had given me slushy snow and I was going to make a snowman!

I’m glad you are old enough to be a kid again!
My boys are acting like they’re TOO OLD for such nonsense (at 8 and 9!). Although they still want to have a snowball fight with the kids on the street.
And you’ll have to teach these skills to little Z.D.!
I definitely will pass on this important skill to my son!
I can’t believe my cousins are 8 and 9 years old!!!
